Parenting, Teen and Eating Disorders Specialist

Marcela Rondani is a trilingual Doctor in Psychology and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Marcela founded and owns Orenda Family Therapy Services, Inc a group practice to support individuals, teens, and families. Marcela also is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Supervisor. She has been part of the chapter board of iaedp (International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals) since 2014, and now she serves as President of the iaedp LA chapter. She specializes in treating eating disorders, mental health, trauma, and family dynamic issues. With more than fifteen years of experience in the mental health field, Marcela has been working with adolescents and families in treatment center setting as a Clinical Director, and Clinical supervisor; Marcela has extensive training in psychodynamic, DBT, and TRM (level I and II), and she was trained by Pia Mellody in the Post Induction Therapy Model. Also, Marcela has worked at the Brazilian Embassy, assessing and helping the Brazilian community in Los Angeles. Marcela is passionate about educating parents and families about teen mental health and eating disorders. She has led numerous talks and workshops in various schools, universities, magazines, and TV shows.
